Do you have (wo)man’s best friend?

You only have to go scrolling through Instagram for a minute to come across a picture of someone’s gorgeous furry baby, but how could you include your best four-legged friend as part of your special day? 

Think about: 

• Make sure your venue is dog friendly, and if it isn’t, hire one with outside space for photographs and keep your fingers crossed for a dry day! 
• Bring poo bags 

• Make sure all guests are aware that a dog will be at the wedding, in case of allergies or phobias 
• Do you want them as a ‘guest of honour’ or actually to perform a task like ring-bearer or dog flower girl? There’s a reason there’s a phrase ‘you can’t teach an old dog new tricks’…but certainly rehearse as much as you can prior to the big day. 
• Let your wedding photographer/videographer know you’re bringing your dog 

You might even want to consider hiring a professional and experienced wedding dog chaperone – apparently it is a thing – and these things combined can certainly help you have a real furrytail wedding.
