#1. Try to work with suppliers who use the method of ‘honest cooking.’  Whether you want to use fresh products from family run businesses or locally sourced, where the products are handled with respect and the utmost care, your taste buds will thank you for it.

#2. Are there a few options? Think about whether you would like a formal meal or a sharing platter per table. We have found that the silver service wedding meal is on the decline and in its place are delicious cold cut platters, with fruit and crudites. Gorgeous to look at and of course even better to eat. 

#3. Dessert tables make a great addition to any wedding breakfast. Cute cupcakes, plates of sweet nibbles and crunches all surrounding your wedding cake makes for a great visual in the room and gives the guests the opportunity of picking.

#4. Always cater for the vegan, vegetarians, and those with allergies separately and ask the caterers to take responsibility for this.
